Kathryne is a 5-star character with Anemo attributes, wielding a rapier. Her base HP is 77.0%, indicating moderate survivability, but her attack power is exceptional, with a base attack value of 413. Her diverse skills and attack patterns require players to master her rhythm to unlock her full potential.
Exclusive Weapon
Kathryne’s exclusive weapon is a rapier named “Kathryne.” Its base attack value is 413, and it provides a 12% increase in HP. At R1, after casting an Elemental Skill or performing a Normal Attack, it ignores 8% of the target’s defense. If the target has more than one layer of Anemo damage amplification (from her abilities), damage dealt increases by 20%. This makes Kathryne particularly devastating against enemies affected by multiple layers of her Anemo effects.
Skill Analysis
Kathryne’s skill system is both complex and engaging. She has two forms: Kathryne and Floridrys. Floridrys form is activated when her Resonance Energy is fully charged, triggered by pressing her Elemental Burst. In Floridrys form, her attack patterns and skills change, along with additional enhanced effects.
Normal Attacks
Kathryne’s Normal Attack consists of four strikes, each dealing Anemo damage and applying a layer of her Anemo damage amplification. The fourth strike applies two layers of amplification and summons a “Hieroclastic Aegis.” Her Charged Attack also applies two layers of amplification and summons a “Heteroclite Aegis.” Her Plunge Attack recollects all “Aegis” on the field, enhancing the damage and range of the Plunge Attack based on the number of “Aegis” collected, while also granting different buffs.
Elemental Skill
Kathryne’s Elemental Skill, The Sword in the Name of Man, attacks enemies and applies two layers of Anemo damage amplification, summoning a “Humanitas Aegis.” In Floridrys form, her Elemental Skill transforms into The Sword of Oceanic Will, summoning a gravitational field at the target location that pulls enemies in and deals damage, while also granting her Resolve. In Floridrys form, her Elemental Skill can be pressed again to summon a massive “Aegis” that descends to deal additional damage.
Elemental Burst
Kathryne’s Elemental Burst, Hear the Knight’s Inner Prayer, transforms her into Floridrys, granting her a 60% increase in Anemo damage and entering a Manifested state that lasts for 12 seconds. During this state, Floridrys’ attacks accumulate Resolve. When Resolve reaches 120 points, she can unleash her Elemental Burst: The Wrathful Blade’s Roar, healing for 70% of her HP and dealing massive damage to enemies.
Floridrys Form
In Floridrys form, Kathryne’s attack patterns and skills undergo significant changes. She can perform up to five Normal Attack strikes, each generating Resolve. Her Plunge Attack and Charged Attack also generate Resolve and deal additional damage. Her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst in this form are enhanced, becoming even more powerful.
